Patek Philippe UK Hits a Record £301m as Bond Street Booms
New UK accounts show record sales for the Geneva house, led by its London boutique, while rising costs squeezed profit for a third year.

Demand for the most coveted name in watchmaking is still climbing in Britain. Patek Philippe UK, the company behind the brand's wholesale business for the UK and Ireland and its directly owned boutique on London's Bond Street, lifted turnover 11% to a record £301 million in the 12 months to 31 January 2026, according to newly filed accounts reported by WatchPro on 30 October.
The directors call the result "excellent" and say turnover rose "due to the demand for our products and more sales of higher value items." In other words: more of the expensive pieces, not just more watches.
The numbers in brief
- Turnover: £301 million, up 11% year on year.
- Operating profit: £22.1 million, down 9.4%, and 27.5% below the £30.5 million peak of the year to January 2023.
- Bond Street boutique, extended into a neighbouring unit in 2024: sales of £106 million, up 28.1%; operating profit of £12.6 million, up 24.8%.
- Boutique operating margin of 12%, against 7% for the wholesale and retail business combined.
The split tells the story. The single London salon, enlarged two years ago, now accounts for roughly a third of UK sales and earns a better margin than the business as a whole. WatchPro reads the falling group profit as evidence of rising costs of doing business in the UK, a pressure every luxury retailer in London will recognise.
Where Patek sits in Britain
According to WatchPro, Patek Philippe is the UK's second-largest watchmaking business. The leader by a distance is Rolex's UK subsidiary, which includes Tudor and reported 2025 sales of £736.7 million. Bucherer, wholly owned by Rolex, files separately and showed £109.2 million in UK sales for its 2025-26 year. Audemars Piguet's UK operation grew 29% to £105 million in 2025.
Fewer, dearer, sold under its own roof: the quiet formula of modern haute horlogerie.
For collectors the signal is clear: the top houses are leaning on their own boutiques and on higher-value pieces, which tends to mean longer waits and tighter allocation for the most wanted references. Treat watches as a passion, not an investment, and talk to a qualified adviser before committing serious money.
