Lucca Comics & Games closes today, 1 November 2026, after five days inside the walls of the Tuscan city. The 60th edition ran under the theme Legacy, and Claudio Castellini's original poster has been bought by the Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lucca so that it stays in the city, according to the festival's scientific partner, the IMT School.

LEGO's Dragon Ball moment

For collectors, the headline came from LEGO. According to the Italian site Nerdgames, LEGO Icons Dragon Ball: Shenron & Goku was shown in person for the first time in Lucca, with an evening preview on 30 October, pre-orders at the official stand and general sale from today. LEGO's 300-square-metre Piazza LEGO, in Piazza San Romano, also marked ten years of Italy's first LEGO Certified Store and hosted a Time Capsule built by LEGO Certified Professional Riccardo Zangelmi, to be sealed and reopened in 2086. Designers Nicola Belfiore and Lee Magpili, who worked on LEGO's Minas Tirith and Pokémon sets, held signing sessions.

  • Magic: The Gathering showed its latest expansion and a Star Trek preview; an official NARUTO card game is due in 2027.
